Before there was a restaurant, there was a friendship. The original idea was never really about building a famous restaurant. It was about giving someone an opportunity and a chance to build something of his own.

Then the universe intervened. Ghost himself found himself spending more and more time in the kitchen. Somewhere between the heat of the pans, the pressure of a busy kitchen and the instinct to make something incredible, a sauce was created — a flavour that became part of the identity of Ghost.

Why “Ghost”? The name is about a past that no longer defines him. It is about leaving behind gangsterism, drugs, alcohol, bad decisions and wrong environments and choosing a different future. The old Ghost had to disappear so that someone new could be born.

Ghost Portuguese Inspired is therefore about much more than food. It is about redemption, second chances, loyalty, mistakes and the courage to learn from them. It is about creating opportunities for people who have been underestimated and reminding them that a difficult past does not have to decide their future.

The secret ingredient is not only in the sauce. Every plate carries a story of friendship, pressure, resilience and belief. This is more than a restaurant. This is a second life.
